Paul was helping with our church's Food Drive program this morning and got to share the Gospel with people they collected food from. Izzy and I waited at home for him. We always like to go out and have a lot of fun activities on weekends, but today was different. When Paul came from the Food Drive, we decided we would go to the zoo. It's a perfect time to walk around the Minnesota Zoo which is only about 10 minutes away from our home. It was the first day of the Russia's Grizzly Coast exhibit at the zoo today, so we got to see the Grizzly brown bears, the lovely sea otters, the takins, the tigers, the two-humped camels and etc. Izzy had a great time there.
We got to see the Grizzly brown bear a few inches away from us. We've never been so close to a huge animal like that. Izzy thought it was very cuddly! But I almost freaked out when it got closer to us.

It's funny how we found the smallest turtle in the world on the street as we walked back to the exit of the zoo! Oh, it was so tiny!
