A Dinner with Special Friends

We have made our next door neighbors one of our close friends the past two years. They are Somalis who have been living in the US for more than 10 years. They are a wonderful family. Isabelle and I go out with the wife and her daughter a lot. Our little girls have definitely become best of friends. The couple has been really open to tell us how they love us and that they find us rather having beautiful hearts. They tell us how they believe that the reason why we have beautiful hearts is because we love God. It is very encouraging to hear that from them! P and I love and pray for them a lot. We are praying and looking forward to the day when God unite our hearts in Him. We continue to allow ourselves to be used by God to bless this family with His saving grace and love.

Last Friday, they asked us to join them for dinner at their house. We had a great time talking over Somali food. The man of the house asked P to pray. And P prayed in Jesus' name. Every person, big and small, in that table said, "Amen!" Isn't that awesome?
